health care

We believe that innovative technology solutions can help the healthcare system deliver better, safer patient care. However, people come first, and effective technology solutions require an integrated approach that works within an organization's culture and capacity. New methods can pose challenges to policy, impact personnel and workflow, and introduce technical issues that affect the delivery and evaluation of services. MD+A's experience with information technology in healthcare settings allows us to confidently offer a full range of services and solutions to meet these challenges.

Since 1999, we have been involved in the planning, project management and delivery of provincial and national e-health sector initiatives with eHealth Ontario (formerly Smart Systems for Health Agency), the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and Canada Health Infoway.

We have worked in a wide variety of settings, including small clinics, research agencies, health promotion and social service organizations and ministries of health at the regional and national level. We have engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including civil servants, policy analysts, scientists and researchers, clinicians, patients and health care advocates.

We can provide project management, site readiness assessments, organizational and workflow change management, data architecture development, policy analysis and development, privacy and security assessments, procurement management, and general expertise in all aspects of developing and deploying health information systems.
